PARAGONS
Illustration in progress
The fifteen elite traditions of Salorras as OSE classes. Unlike 3.5e or Pathfinder, B/X has no prestige-class or subclass machinery, so each Paragon is a full level-1–14 class chosen at character creation, with the order’s initiation woven into the character’s background. Where an official Advanced Fantasy class matches the Paragon’s concept it is reskinned; where none does, a custom class is authored strictly to B/X design conventions.
| Paragon | Base Path | OSE build |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze Hoplite | armsman | custom (Fighter-variant) |
| Lawkeeper | armsman | custom (Fighter-variant) |
| Marshal | armsman | custom (Fighter-variant) |
| Warlord | armsman | custom (Fighter-variant) |
| Tamer of Horrors | armsman | Ranger, reskinned |
| Fury | armsman | Barbarian, reskinned |
| Warrior of Eone | apostle | Paladin, reskinned |
| Murder-Call Apostle | apostle | custom (Cleric-variant) |
| Magewraith | apostle | custom (Cleric-variant) |
| Omenar | apostle | custom (Cleric-variant) |
| Echoe | legatee | custom (essencer-variant) |
| Grafted Agent | legatee | custom (essencer-variant) |
| Entropist | mage | custom (Magic-User-variant) |
| Katjemeran Assassin | scoundrel | Assassin, reskinned |
| Marooner | scoundrel | Acrobat, reskinned |
The armsman’s six martial traditions lead, followed by the apostle’s four holy orders, the legatee’s two essencer refinements, the mage’s one forbidden discipline, and the scoundrel’s two sea-and-shadow archetypes — all fifteen now written as full B/X classes.
